Committed to the Community
When you bank with Rollstone, you're doing business with a local bank that is truly involved in the community. We're dedicated to the citizens of the region and committed to the improvement of the quality of life of our neighbors throughout the area. Our employees serve on countless boards and committees, and the Bank offers philanthropic support for a wide variety of local educational, environmental, and cultural community improvement and development projects.
Out & About
Our bankwide volunteerism initiative is rooted in our mission to help communities flourish. When we come together to improve the world around us, our efforts increase exponentially. Rollstone Bank employees are provided and encouraged to use 8 hours of paid time off to volunteer. Many of them go above and beyond that on their own time! We applaud the efforts of the RBTeam and admire their generous spirit. You will see our people taking on a variety of tasks this year. They include:
Girl Scouts of Central & Western MA - Camp Green Eryie Volunteers will help set up tents and cots in preparation for summer camp sessions.
Up With Books, Inc. provides new books to children living in poverty. Our Groton team will be stuffing backpacks with books for local children to enjoy this summer. They will be distributed to schools and food pantries in the region. The Groton branch will be closed on Tuesday, April 23 so they can help out.
We'll be helping Habitat for Humanity North Central MA at multiple events. The Townsend team will be helping at a Habitat home in Leominster during May's Women Build Week. The Townsend office will be closed on May 8 so they can pitch in as a team. We also have a crew with members from multiple departments that will pitch in at a home in Leominster or Fitchburg in June. Our Central Street team will work on a Habitat home on July 25; the branch will be closed that day.
