Sowa Goat Sanctuary

Sowa Goat Sanctuary

As Rollstone Bank & Trust celebrates 180 years of serving our communities, we’re proud to recognize another organization making a meaningful difference through our employee-nominated Community Grants.

This week’s recipient is Sowa Goat Sanctuary.

Sowa Goat Sanctuary provides a safe, compassionate home for rescued farm animals in need of healing. Its name comes from the Tibetan word sowa, meaning “to heal, mend, and nourish”—a mission reflected in the care each resident receives.

Many of the sanctuary’s animals arrive after experiencing neglect, abuse, abandonment, serious illness, or other difficult circumstances. Through individualized treatment plans that combine conventional veterinary care with holistic therapies such as physical therapy, acupuncture, massage, reiki, and herbal medicine, Sowa Goat Sanctuary helps animals regain their health while providing them with the love, comfort, and security they deserve.

The sanctuary’s dedication to giving vulnerable animals a second chance has transformed the lives of countless survivors and created a place where they can live safely and peacefully for the rest of their lives.

Rollstone Bank & Trust is honored to recognize Sowa Goat Sanctuary for its compassionate work and unwavering commitment to animal welfare. As we celebrate our 180th anniversary, we’re proud to recognize organizations that make our communities stronger through kindness, dedication, and care for those who need it most.
